Privacy Notice
This notice explains how the New Commandments editorial project handles information submitted through the contact form. New Commandments is the data controller for that information and can be contacted through the contact form.

Information We Collect
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, message, submission time, the site hostname, form version, and IP address. Cloudflare Turnstile also processes technical signals needed to distinguish people from automated abuse.
Please do not include sensitive personal information—such as health, religious, political, biometric, or sexual-orientation information—in a message.
Why We Use It
We use this information to read and respond to messages, consider corrections and feedback, keep a short operational record, and protect the form and site from spam, fraud, and abuse.
The lawful basis is the project's legitimate interests in communicating with readers, maintaining editorial records, and securing the website. We do not use contact details for advertising or unrelated marketing.
Service Providers and Transfers
Cloudflare provides website hosting, R2 storage, security controls, and Turnstile. AuthSMTP relays the message to the project's receiving mailbox. These providers process information only as needed to provide those services and may use infrastructure outside the UK under their applicable contractual and legal safeguards.

Retention and Security
Stored contact submissions and operational logs in Cloudflare R2 are automatically deleted after 60 days. The delivered email and any reply are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the message, manage related correspondence, and maintain an appropriate editorial record, then deleted.
The site uses HTTPS, restricted Cloudflare bindings, encrypted Worker secrets, Turnstile verification, request-size limits, rate limiting, and access controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the use of your information. To make a request, use the contact form and provide enough information to identify the relevant message.
You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies and Analytics
The site does not use advertising or audience-analytics tools. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security technologies, including Turnstile signals and cookies where required to prevent malicious traffic and protect the contact form.
